A short trip to California...and other stuff

About two weeks ago I had the opportunity to visit my parents (and the rest of the family) in Merced, Ca. It was a great trip down although I seem to remember it being shorter (maybe that's one of those "mature men" things). The trip in and of itself was great. My mother is doing quite well and I would like to take this opportunity to thank those who have been praying for her.

I stayed about 4 days and then returned. Since then, I have been working on a book project as well as working on some training stuff. My good friend Karman and I have been working on a facilitator's guide for Wounded by Shame/Healed by Grace classes that he and June will be presenting to the Native American pastors. Please pray for this vital ministry.

A lot of folks have sent me emails about some of tae kwon do's history and what is the real truth there. For those folks, I am still doing some research and I will present my results later on this blog as soon as possible. I think that this is a time of refining fire for the Korean arts and I am excited for what the possibilities are.
In His Grace,
Mark
